WWE changes camera angles..

If you have noticed during during Smackdown, RAW and ECW the WWE has changed up camera angles on various shots. To start the main camera used to be on the left side of the entrance ramp but is now moved to the right side. The move came because the entrance ramp itself was moved as well. Also, during the match the WWE has been cutting in and out of camera angles more frequently then before.

Eugene signed back to remain behind the scenes

It has been reported that Eugene, who was released in 2007 from the WWE has been resigned to work behind the scenes with the up and coming wrestlers. Eugene's real name is Nick Dinsmore.

Jericho to choose new tag team partner

Last night on Monday Night RAW, Chris Jericho announced that due to his tag team partners injury (Edge) and a clause in his title contract he will be choosing a new tag team partner to help defend the Unified Tag Team Titles as Night of Champions. There has been no reports on who the running mate is going to be. Remember being that these are the Unified Titles, Jericho can chose from Smackdown or RAW.

WWE Divas star on Magic's Biggest Secrets Revealed

Last night two of the WWE Divas starred on My Network TV's, Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed. WWE Divas Eve and Maria were assistants to the Masked Magician.

Monday Night RAW- 7/13/09

Tonight's Monday Night RAW started with tonight's guest host, Seth Green, Triple H and Randy Orton in the ring. After Green and Triple H took their shots at Orton, Green announced a 3 on 3 tag team match between Orton and Legacy vs. Triple H, John Cena and Seth Green.

6 Diva Swimsuit Match
Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim and Mickie James vs. Maryse, Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes: The team of Maryse, Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes gets the win...after a great Diva melee.

Primo vs. The Miz
The Miz gets the win when Carlito shows up and distracts Primo. Carlito finished by spitting in the face of Primo...because he wasn't cool.

MVP vs. Jack Swagger
Jack Swagger gets the win

Chris Jericho addresses Edge's injury
Jericho announced that due to Edge's injury he will be choosing a new Unified Tag Team partner to defend the titles at Night of Champions. During Jericho's speech, Mark Henry showed up and did what he does best...some body got their ass kicked. Seemed like payback for Jericho's interaction with Seth Green earlier.

Hornswoggle vs. Chavo Guerro
Hornswoggle gets the win

Evan Bourne vs. The Big Show
The Big show gets the win by submission.

Randy Orton and Legacy vs. John Cena, Triple H and Seth Green
What this match turned into was a comedy event. Just when we thought our wishes were going to come through John Cena stopped the Orton punt to Seth Green. Triple H came out with his famous sledge hammer and ended up hitting Cena resulting in a DQ for the threesome.

WWE Allied Powers- The World's Greatest Tag Teams

On July 14th, 2009 the WWE will release another great DVD into their lineup: Allied Powers- The Worlds Greatest Tag Teams. This DVD will take you back to a time where tag teams meant something and were entertaining to watch. The superstars paired up in this DVD complemented each other creating dominate forces.

ZZ Top to host Monday Night RAW

During this week's Monday Night RAW, it was released that ZZ Top will be the guest host and GM for next week's Monday Night RAW. Let's get ready to rock..

WWE PPV Name Change

The WWE has changed the name of No Mercy to Hell in Cell and will air October 4th, 2009. The theme of this PPV states it right in the name- Cell matches. Another PPV which has been changed is Unforgiven. The new name of this PPV will be WWE Breaking Point and will air September 13th, 2009. No news on what type of theme PPV this will be.

Brock Lesnar reins as UFC Champion

In a one sided victory over Frank Mir Saturday night Brock Lesnar proved that he is a dominate force in the UFC. During the first round, Brock quickly took Mir down and began to pound him for most of the round. Mir was having a hard time getting his rhythm together or maybe it was hard moving a 265lb tank off of your back. During the 2nd round, Mir was knocked down again but Lesnar let him get up so they could go at it toe for toe but Mir quickly jumped in and hit Brock with two knees that stunned him for a second but Brock quickly took him down and finished the fight by TKO.

I don't think this will be the last time these superstars go at it again....Lesnar vs. Mir...round 3.

Brock Lesnar's birthday was Sunday- he turned 32.

Seth Green to host Monday Night Raw

It has been reported by the WWE that Seth Green will be tonight's guest host for Monday Night RAW. While I think it's a good move that they are bringing in a fresh face each week to the brand I think somethings should be passed on; and this is one of them.

Mysterio's Mask

Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio seem to complement each others skills during their matches but there's one thing that still hangs over Jericho- Rey's mask. It seems every match that they have Jericho keeps going after Rey's mask trying to expose the superstar for who is really is. In recent matches in Japan, Jericho went after Rey's mask successfully a few times but Rey quickly covered his face up.

As a Luchador, Mysterio's mask is sacred. The only time these wrestlers reveal themselves is if they are getting ready to retire or change characters. So is Mysterio getting ready to do either of the two or is this just another drawn out story line.

Aruturo Gatti found dead in Brazil

Boxing's biggest brawling legend, Arturo Gatti was found dead on July 11th in San Paulo, Brazil. Gatti, who was with his wife and baby at the time on vacation was found dead in his hotel room around 6:00 am. There has been no arrests as of yet but police seem to be targeting Gatti's wife. There was blood on the floor and on Gatti's body but no visible damage to the boxing superstar.

Gatti was best known for his all out battles with Micky Ward in 2002 and 2003 which really made a name for the two boxing legends.

Ricky Steamboat

In a recent interview, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat was praising the young wrestling superstars today on how they are performing the moves and doing them better then Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka and himself once did. Steamboat, a legend in his own right was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He also stated that he has been working behind the scenes with the creative writing team on developing ideas presented by himself and other wrestlers. Additionally, Steamboat has been wrestling and training in the ring with the superstars. After his spring fling with the WWE he proved that he can defiantly handle himself in the ring still.

John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler

Tonight on Friday Night Smackdown, John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler went head to head putting on an impressive match. The match consisted of two of the "pretty" boy persona's on the Smackdown roster and each showed their skills in their own right. While I wasn't too impressed with Ziggler when he was first introduced, and I do still feel he needs some work, it seems that paired with the right wrestlers he can be impressive. Also, just seeing what John Morrison is capable of when he has someone who can take the moves makes me realize why I love this sport.

Ziggler picked up this win in a perfect heel finish....now starts a good feud...hopefully.

Girl falls down manhole while texting..

Breaking away from the normal topics I wanted to touch on a subject which was running on a local news station in NY.

A 15 year old girl in Staten Island, NY was walking and texting and accidentally fell down an open man hole cover. The fall happened around 5:00 pm yesterday when the manhole was uncovered due to maintenance work. The teen and her family both stated that a DEP (department of environmental protection) worker was not in sight nor was the manhole closed off. Currently, DEP is investigating this situation. The family of the victim has also mentioned they will be seeking a law suit.

Jeff Hardy's Contact

In a previous post, the news was released that Jeff Hardy has not signed a contract with the WWE as of yet. Currently, Hardy's contract is set to expire at the end of this month. The WWE has been trying to convince Hardy to stay through the summer hopefully until SummerSlam.

What has also been reported was that during a TNA taping, Mick Foley started talking and running clips about Jeff Hardy's most memorable matches during his tenure with TNA.

So is this superstar going over to TNA? Honestly, if he does decide to make the move, WWE will be losing a tremendous asset to the roster. There aren't many superstars today which can do what Jeff does day in and day out..

Stay tuned..

The Days of a good manager..

So what happened to the days of a good manager...it's simple they don't exist anymore. The days of having a heel manager to help you out in your corner is far over although I don't know why as they added a lot of additional entertainment and gave the superstar an extra push in the right direction. I was watching WWE Classics on MSG the other night and there were a few matches with managers and it made me think. Just watching these managers in action and how they interacted with the crowd and wrestlers really made a difference.

The WWE started something with Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix but that was shortly lived. Check out some old matches with Mr. Fuji, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Jimmy Hart, etc and you will see what I mean..

Triple H Muscle & Fitness Cover- 9/2009

Triple H has made the cover of Muscle and Fitness Magazine for September of this year. The magazine will feature Triple H and Dave Palumbo working out in WWE's Headquarters gym in Stamford, CT. As you can see from the cover at the time of this photo Triple H was a lot leaner.

Elijah Burke Surgery

After a message posted on his Twitter account, Elijah Burke stated that he fell down the stairs and followed that comment with he was en route to the emergency room. He did not release what the injury was but stated he went in for minor surgery and stated he may be out for a little while. From looks of a photo posted on his blog, it seems that it was his wrist

Since being released from the WWE ECW brand, Burke has been wrestling overseas on independent circuits.

Matt Hardy out of surgery

Well after denying the fact that he was out due to an injury Matt Hardy went under the knife to repair a torn abdominal muscle. The injury has been something Matt has been dealing with for the past 2 years and I guess enough was enough. I think he didn't release the injury because he thought if he sat out for awhile things would change...unfortunately they did not. There's no word how long Hardy will be out for but we wish him well and hope he returns soon..

Million Dollar Man new RAW GM?

Monday Night RAW this week was rather entertaining with the Million Dollar Man as guest GM and host. If you noticed during the first segment, the Million Dollar Man started with everyone has a price and stated that was how he got to be the GM for this week. At the end of the show, where you would think Vince McMahon would come out and announce the new GM for next week he didn't. Maybe The Million Dollar Man will be RAW's new GM. He is entertaining, a legend, and knows the business...so why not?

Edge officially in surgery

Since last week during the taping of Smackdown, one half of the unified tag team members Edge, has been walking around with a torn Achilles tendon. Yesterday, the superstar arrived at St. Vincent's hospital in Alabama to undergo surgery. There is no word on how long Edge will be out of action for but knowing the severity of this injury we may not see him until the end of the year or even Wrestlemania.

Monday Night RAW- 7/6/09

Here are tonight's Monday Night RAW Results:

Million Dollar Man is the guest GM and Host

John Cena vs. Triple H- Ended in double DQ due to interference by Legacy.

Ted DiBiase vs. Randy Orton (non title)- Randy Orton gets the win by a RKO

Kofi Kingston vs. Evan Bourne- Evan Bourne gets the win by his shooting star press

Jack Swagger confronted MVP in his VIP lounge

Mark Henry vs. Cody Rhodes- Mark Henry gets the win by way of count out

Divas Champ Maryse and Alicia Fox vs. Gail Kim and Mickie James- Mickie James and Gail Kim get the win by pin fall.

Jeff Hardy's Contract

Who knows what's in store for the dare devil once his contract expires but word on the street is that Hardy has not committed to the WWE at this point. Hardy's contract is set to expire in a month or so and with no word on what he is doing it leaves a lot of options open. If the superstar does decide to walk from the WWE, Smackdown will miss a tremendous asset to their lineup. Not many wrestlers can do what this man does and come back the next week and do it all over again. On Hardy's Twitter account he posted a message stating "We do have a choice". Not sure if this was a direct message to the WWE or in relation to something else so we'll just have to wait and see what the superstar decides.

WWE Blood censoring

Have you wondered why in the last few months unless it is on accident WWE does not have any blood in there shows? I'm sure the fact that the WWE went down to a PG rating plays a role in it but if you watch the Classic matches on MSG they blur the blood out in older matches. I think the last bloody match in the WWE was during the draft when Batista and Edge speared each other and Batista's head was cut open.....

Vladimir Kozlov and William Regal

During this week's ECW airing Vladimir Kozlov and William Regal teamed up against Tommy Dreamer and Christian Cage. Prior to the match, there was a cut scene where Regal was addressing Kozlov about the match and stressed how he (Regal) needed to make a good impression. Towards the end of the match as it seemed Regal would get the pin, Kozlov tagged himself in and got the win. While Regal pretended to be happy you could see his beady little eyes focusing on Kozlov. So is this Regal's new feud on ECW?

Edge sustains injury

It has been reported during Smackdown's live event on Friday that Edge has suffered a torn Achilles tendon during his match with Jeff Hardy. While the injury has not been confirmed yet by the WWE, during the match Edge stopped the match, apologized to the fans and headed off with the help of EMTs. If he is truly injured and unable to compete what happens to the tag team titles? Just when things are getting good it seems that the titles will go back to the way they were......boring.

Tony Atlas may be homeless..again

With the moving of Mark Henry to RAW, Tony Atlas has been left behind with no one to manage. The possibility of Tony Atlas getting back into the ring is a long shot so this may be the end of Atlas unless they can find a new angle for him...

CM -PUNK!

Ok, since last week's Monday night RAW CM Punk is still claiming that is eye is in pain after apparently Jeff Hardy poked it when he was in the corner. On Thursday nights WWE Superstars, CM Punk forfeited his match against one half of the Tag Team Champions, Edge due to this injury. So it seems the heel move for CM Punk is in effect but I don't think the WWE will turn him into a full heel. The angle seems that CM Punk is going to do what he wants, wrestle who he wants, until he is forced into a championship match. It has not been announced who CM Punk will wrestle for his title at the Night of Champions but I'm sure the WWE will hold a Fatal 4 way to decide..

Batista filming movie with Paqman

If you say Manny Pacquiao's last fight against Ricky Hatton you would have noticed Batista coming out with him. Maybe it was because they share the same heritage or could it be because they are filming a movie. The movie called, Wapakam, which is supposed to be a martial arts comedy. Another co-star, Nicole Szcheringer also shares their Filipino heritage. It wasn't confirmed it this would be a main screen movie or an International on debut.

Check out the teaser for this movie...

ECW new time slot for next week

ECW will be on airing on a different time slot next week then normally. ECW will still appear on the Sci Fi channel but will air at 7:00 pm on Thursday. It wasn't confirmed is this is a new date and time but we will keep you updated.

Roddy Piper in the slammer..

At 7:54 am this morning, "The Hot Rod" Rowdy Roddy Piper was released from a Los Angeles jail on suspicion of driving under the influence. The arrest came in the early morning hours around 1 am after Piper was giving a field sobriety test. Piper is to appear in court on July 23rd for the final arraignment.

ECW's Sheamus

At an impressive size and from a first time viewing an athletic superstar Sheamus (O'Shaunessy) made an impression last night on ECW. Sheamus, a two time Irish Heavy Weight Champion was recruited by the WWE sometime in November but only made his appearance now on ECW. One question: why isn't he listed on the ECW roster??
